We do not take insurance at Resilient Chiropractic because we do not want insurance telling us what we can and cannot do for our community. In general, insurance companies are not focused on any preventative or wellness services. They were designed for quick, short-term symptom and disease care and treatment which is heavily invested in the conventional model of health care that too often relies on drugs and surgery.
As Chris Kresser says, “Insurance-based medicine is not evidence-based medicine.” Realize that what our culture calls health care is actually “sick” care, since it has little to do with advancing true health. It’s mostly about suppressing symptoms while ignoring the underlying cause. We are committed to a vitalistic model that addresses the underlying causes of your symptoms through gentle + specific, nervous system focused chiropractic adjustments.
Now, if you have a policy it will probably help with at least some of the expense of your sick care. But few policies pay for things that help us keep our health. The great news is that by not having to deal with insurance companies, office costs are kept down, so we can offer affordable care for the whole family. Many of our providers will gladly provide you with the necessary documentation to get reimbursed if you’re willing to file yourself. We accept HSA and FSA forms of payment and always welcome open and honest conversations about finances. We are here to serve you and will do all that we can to help!

No! We serve whole families, so that’s mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and all the kiddos. Everyone is welcome in our office!
Since we all have nervous systems, chiropractic care is a great option for everyone!
We have a “toolbox” of ways that we can adjust someone whether it’s using the drop table, activator, manual adjustments, or a more tonal based approach - which is why it is applicable for all ages.
-
Yes. If clinically indicated, we will take chiropractic postural X-rays, allowing our team of doctors to get an exact assessment of your spine and identify problem areas. While not always necessary, we have an X-ray suite conveniently located in our chiropractic office that is safe and cost-effective.

At Resilient Chiropractic, we take your health very seriously. Your first day in the office will consist of several assessments including a neurologic evaluation, spinal exam, and X-rays if clinically indicated. Dr. Jess and Dr. Dennis will extensively review these in detail prior to your next visit to create your very own customized care plan. On your second day in our office we will share our recommendations and give you your first opportunity to get adjusted!
-
You can expect your first visit in our office to be under an hour. We will do a thorough initial health consultation, neurologic evaluation, spinal exam, and take specific chiropractic x-rays if clinically indicated. You can expect the second visit to be 45 minutes in which we go over your care recommendations and financials. Once under care, your appointments in our office are between 10-15 minutes!
-
Ultimately, the choice is yours to continue chiropractic care. In our office, once people have completed their first active care plan, they almost always want to continue with wellness care to ensure their health is at the most optimal levels of function.
Once you start to experience how your body is supposed to feel like and move, you won’t want to stop! We always say that there is not a single thing that you can do for your health only once - think about exercising, drinking water, eating healthy, etc. You can’t workout once or twice and expect to immediately have a six pack, so why should you get adjusted once or twice and expect all of your pain and dysfunction to immediately go away for forever?
-
No, we do not take walk in appointments for new practice members. At your first appointment, our team will scan you using the INSIGHT technology which is completely safe and non-invasive for all ages. The doctors will then review those scans and perform the 1st adjustment at your follow up appointment after reviewing your health goals with our entire team!

As soon as you would like! Babies can be adjusted within minutes of being born. Chiropractic care is vital in the beginning stage of life, as it helps the nervous system adapt to this new environment. It also helps the body adjust to any physical stress that they went through during labor!
-
Webster Technique is a specialized prenatal chiropractic technique that helps ensure the pelvis and surrounding structures are properly supporting the growth and development of the baby. Both Dr. Jess and Dr. Dennis are certified and trained in Webster Technique through the ICPA.

Our care plans are designed based off of how your nervous system is functioning and from what your goals of care are. Care plans are our “game plan” of how to get you out of the pain you’re experiencing and better handling the stress to your nervous system!
